          My plan is to bring all the techniques and strategies I have adopt while teaching here in SMP Negeri 5 Depok. I have learned to be at ease when I am teaching a lot of terminologies and definitions. I should be a model of calmness and simplicity when dealing to complicated parts in Science for me to affect the students greatly. I should have always make a-breathe of fresh air activities every day for my students so they can be attracted to the whole discussion even if they will learn it by 120 minutes just like one of my class in Grade 8.

 

          Preparing of the lesson plan ahead of time greatly helped me so that if there will be adjustment urgently, My students and I can cope up with that.

 

          I know and I feel that 3 weeks is not enough for me to practice myself in the Indonesian classroom setting but I am so glad that all of us had a great time and also learned from one another. I may not have the fluency in Bahasa and they may not have a wide range of vocabulary in English, we adjust ourselves for the sake of one another.

Teaching Practice

There are a lot of things to cater the teaching- learning activities for the students that belong to the 21st Century Era. Also how students can learn fully if the language or medium to be used is ENGLISH language.

As an observer, I noticed that students tend to do a lot of things while listening to the discussion of the teacher. This could be seen starting from the middle row to the last row. I also observe that as the discussion starts, students must 100% be in to the topic itself. They must be ready and prepared to what's going to happen the whole period. Also, they were not using English Language in teaching Science Subject which will give me a challenge on how will I attain my objectives for the day and their mastery to the topic as well.

All of my analyses and concepts before I start teaching were all integrated to my lesson plan. I submitted my lesson plan before I start my lesson for next week. English and Bahasa Indonesia are used to make my lesson plan. I had incorporated all the idea from motivating the students to such activities and motivations, to series of drills and exercise up to the application of what they have learned which of course, translation of English to Bahasa was present in ever part of the lesson.

I realized that in my latter part  teaching practice week, they had already adopted and anticipated to my strategies and techniques where they need to use their critical thinking skills and psychomotor skills while learning a material or topic.
