My Life in Indonesia

If there is one word to describe my whole experiences in Yogyakarta, Indonesia that would be "EXTRAORDINARY". We had been accommodated well and had been welcomed with open arms from university, Yogyakarta State University and from the school, SMP Negeri 5 Depok.

So, the boys of the 5th Batch of SeaTeacher project based in Universitas Negeri Yogyakarta lived at Jalan Deresan. It is near from the convenient store and a walking distant from S.M.P. N5 Depok. We have a complete appliances necessary in living for 1 month. It is has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a living room, a dining room, and kitchen. I love the kitchen the most because we cooked any kinds of food whether it was from Thailand, Indonesia or Philippines. :)

Our first breakfast together, 3 Filipinos and 1 Thai

We went to Alun- Alun Kidul where there are a lot of people enjoying the field. Some people were playing football, some were flying kites, some were enjoying their picnics and many more. We had rode/ drove the colorful cycling car which has good built- it sound system which gave us the good vibes while cycling and roaming around the place. We had experienced the walking through the 2 trees while being blindfolded. They have believe that when you get passed through the 2 trees, it means you can surmount the challenges in your life and eventually make your dreams come true. And I must say, we successfully did it! :)

We went to Kraton Ratu Boko Temple where we experienced the breathe of fresh air in it. It has many instagrammable places and you will witness the singing and dancing of the Indonesian performers. I was very delighted by the sunset of Ratu Boko Temple and I have planned to visit this again with my family. I am sure that they will love the place and its ambiance.

Next, we went to Goa Cemara Beach where we had been toured in their agriculture fields, turtle nursery, picnic grounds and many more.

So the boys had this courage and bravery to climb up to the lighthouse where you can see the 360 degrees beauty of the surroundings. The exhaustion faded away when we had reached the top.

My favorite part of the excursion is going to the Borobudur Temple. Not only because it is very famous but I can feel the vibe and the majestic feels of the place. My friend had taught me to meditate in the temple which was so refreshing to me and meeting all the kids that speaks English was indeed remarkable.
